Dr. Karmokar has specialized training in palliative care and cancer pain management from Chittaranjan National Cancer Institute (CNCI) and rheumatology from SSKM Hospital, Kolkata, where he learned from stalwarts in the field.
His expertise also integrates his background in psychology, psychiatry, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), which he applies as Dialectical Pain Management for treating cancer pain, palliative care, and chronic pain conditions, addressing both the physical and emotional dimensions of pain.
